Dr. Dodwad completed his residency training at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, OH, followed by his spine fellowship training at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL and has been living in Houston since then. His practice involves caring for adult and pediatric simple and complex spine patients.
As the Co-Director for the Pediatric Scoliosis Program at UT Orthopaedics/Memorial Hermann Children’s Hospital, Dr. Dodwad has taken care of the children in our community with complex spinal deformity/scoliosis to straighten their spine and get them back to leading productive lives.
Dr. Dodwad also treats adult and pediatric spine tumors and pathologic fractures, offering minimally invasive surgical treatment options.
Having taken spine trauma call at the busiest level 1 trauma center in the world and is well-versed in the evaluation and treatment of adult and pediatric spine fractures.
We offer minimally invasive as well as open surgical treatment options as well as motion preserving options for degenerative conditions, such as disc herniations, stenosis, and spinal cord compression.
